Transparency International Fiji has stressed that the Interim Government should now come up with more legislations which can assist in curbing corruption in the Civil Service.
Chairperson, Hari Pal Singh said while the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption is carrying out major works in prosecuting those involved in corruption, the Government should enact legislations which will stop a person from indulging in corrupt practices.
Singh also adds that the Government procedures should be made transparent and simpler and the information flow to the public should not be stopped by the senior officials.
