A 24 year old company director of Varadoli, Ba, died instantly after his car collided with a truck in Moto, Ba, last night.
Assistant spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed that Rishil Pratap was heading towards Varadoli when he lost control of his car and collided head-on with a truck driven by a 28 year old man.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was treated and sent home.
Police have once again called on drivers to take extra precaution while using the road during this rainy period.
The road death toll is now 21 compared to 25 during the same period last year.
