Collect bodies of loved ones: DISMAC
Team Leader Peni Cuqu said with the power supply still not back they need to use what little power they are generating from their back up supply to use on other services within the Lautoka Hospital.
Meanwhile the Navua Hospital being the worst hit during Cyclone Mick is still closed as clean up continues.
Health Ministry Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said the hospital is still closed because of the need to have it thoroughly cleaned up, as mud surrounds the hospital compound and the interior of the ground floor.
Meanwhile all health facilities in country re-opened for services today, after general outpatients and clinics were cancelled on Monday and Tuesday. However there are some disruptions at some of the health facilities because of either water or power problems. This includes services at the Valelevu, Lami, and some of the health facilities in the West who are without water and electricity.
