The Digicel Fiji 7s team had its first training session yesterday under cold and rainy conditions but coach, Alifereti Dere said the weather will not hinder their preparation.
Dere said it was raining heavily yesterday and they have been told the weather will be the same this weekend with temperature at nine degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, Emosi Mulevoro is expected to be the playmaker for the Fiji 7s team in the Japan 7s as he was training in the first five eight’s position.
Wing Josefa Lilidamu who is currently studying in Japan is the new inclusion in the team.
Fiji will play South Africa at 1.44pm this Saturday in its first pool match of Japan 7s.
