Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Coca Cola Games, Vuli Waqa said they understand the Public Emergency Regulation (PER) is in place which prohibits large gatherings, however they are continuing with organizing the event and will seek approval to hold the Games if the need arises.
Waqa added preparations are in their final stages as they are still receiving entries from different Zones and are anticipating the event to go ahead as scheduled.
The Coca Cola games will be held on the 1st and 2nd of May.
