Springbok coach Allister Coetzee believes that the Lions' success in the Super Rugby final on Saturday would be a boost for the national team, but he also cautioned that the Boks would not suddenly start playing like the Johannesburg franchise.

Coetzee says it has been a massive effort and he wishes them well for the final against the Hurricanes.

He says it is important for South Africa, they have played with confidence and have played outstanding rugby throughout the competition this year.

He adds he is crossing his fingers that they can go all the way because it would be a huge boost for the Springboks camp if they win.

The Hurricanes will host the Lions in the Super Rugby final this Saturday at 7.35pm.
