Coca Cola games torch starts its journey
This will see some 145 runners from 69 schools from around the country taking part, visiting a vast number of communities and schools from as far as Waidina in Naitasiri to Saqani in Vanua Levu.
Coca Cola Games co ordinator Vuli Waqa said for the first time, the torch relay team will be visiting Nadarivatu in the highlands of Ba, Vaturova in Vanua Levu and four schools in Naitasiri.
The torch was this morning jointly lit by BSP Manager Kevin McCarthy and Coca Cola Amatil General Manager Andrew Preece.
The first leg of the relay will start with the students of Kalabu Fijian School, travelling to Wainimala Junior Secondary, Lomaivuna High School, Waidina Secondary and finally to ACS before moving to the Northern division tomorrow.
The Coca Cola Games will be held on the 29th and 30th of this month at the TFL National Stadium.
