There are some indications that the Coca Cola Games may be held in May as the Ministry of Education said it does not see any problem in shifting the games to the second term.

Permanent Secretary, Dr Brij Lal said the organizers of the games have to write formally to them and after considering other things a decision will be made.

Earlier today, Coca Cola games Chief Organizer, Vuli Waqa told the Ministry that they want the games to be held in Suva and not taken to Lautoka.

Waqa said he has asked the Ministry of Education if the games can be shifted to May to allow them to have it at the new ANZ stadium.

If everything goes right then the Coca Cola games can be held on the 17th and 18th of May.

The issue of shifting the games arose after the Fiji Sports Council confirmed that the ANZ stadium may not open on time as some construction work has been delayed.
