With  days remaining for the Coca-Cola Games to begin, the games torch has been lit today.

Defending girls division champion Jasper Williams High School representative Asenaca Musuvanua and reigning boys division champion Natabua High School athletics captain Waisale Dausoko officially lit the torch this afternoon.

The torch relay, an event looked forward to by thousands of spectators, school students and officials every year will not be part of this year's games.

Meanwhile tickets for the Coca-Cola Games are now being sold from the Fijian Teachers Association Credit Union building at 43 MacGregor road in Suva.

The two‑day package for grandstand is $30.

This is for next Friday and Saturday.

The concrete seating area will cost you $12 a day while the grass area is $10 a day.

Meanwhile, a flat rate of $5 will be charged for entry for next Thursday.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held from next Thursday to Saturday.
