The Digicel Fiji Sevens coaching staff will have to wait for the confirmation from the medical team before they will know the fate of the current injured players.
Assistant coach Etuate Waqa confirmed that Setefano Cakau, Livai Ikanikoda and Jimilai Nakaidawa are progressing with the rehabilitation process but they will know later this week whether they can be considered for selection.
Waqa said that out of the 42 players that were supposed to attend the trials, 8 of them were not at the TFL Stadium and they have contacted the management on why they did not turn up.
The Fiji Sevens team will take part in the Uprising Fiji International Sevens on the 20th and 21st of this month.
