Digicel Fiji 7's Coach Joe Savou and Captain Etonia Naba are looking forward to continuing their winning streak in the Dubai 7s.
Both Savou and Naba have worked together for the Fiji Barbarians team when they won the Cayman 7's in 2006 and also teamed up to defend the gold medal in the Pacific Games in August.
This time around the two will be making their debut in the IRB 7's series as coach and captain although they have been part of the team in the last IRB 7's series with Savou as assistant coach and Naba as a leading player in the forwards.
Speaking to Village Sports, Savou said that he knows the expectation of the rugby fans in the country and he has prepared the team to face that challenge.
And for Naba he has high hopes of starting the IRB 7's series on a winning note.
The Dubai 7's tournament kicks off next Friday with Fiji's opening Pool match against Argentina at 6:14pm. Then they face Zimbabwe at 11:10pm and their final Pool encounter will be against Australia at 3:12am on Saturday.
