The Digicel Fiji 7s selectors will reduce the number of players in the current 24 member squad next week.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula has included 3 overseas based reps Setefano Cakau, Osea Kolinisau and Niumaia Cakacaka in his squad as he opted for more experienced players to be in the team.
Tanivula is in a meeting with High Performance Unit Manager Talemo Waqa to discuss on what the squad will go through when they march into camp this afternoon.
Squad members like Waisale Dau, Sakenasa Aca, Apenisa Dralia, Livai Ikanikoda, Leone Nakarawa, Varenava Are and Jone Macilai have not represented Fiji in the 7s code.
Fiji is in Pool D in the Hong Kong 7s with Kenya, Russia and Malaysia.
The Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 25th to the 27th of this month.
