The Fiji Rugby Union Board is into the final stages of short listing candidates with an announcement expected soon on who will be the next Flying Fijians coach.
FRU Board Chairman Viliame Gavoka said they have earmarked three people for the available positions.
It is understood that Eddie Jones was contacted for the job of technical advisor, and local coaches namely Ifereimi Tawake, Reverend Joji Rinakama and current Digicel Fiji Sevens coach Iliesa Tanivula have been shortlisted for the coach and assistant coach’s position.
The new coach will also have the huge task of taking the Flying Fijians team to the Europe Tour in November.
