Each individual player in the Digicel Fiji 7s team fully understands what is required of them before the New Zealand 7s kicks off in Wellington on Friday.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula with his assistant Joe Savou has analyzed the performance of their players before they name the team to take on Canada.
Tanivula said to defend the NZ 7s title, they will need to start well from their pool games.
For current IRB 7s series points leader England, the loss to New Zealand in George is still hurting them.
Coach Ben Ryan said they have to stay in the lead in the points table to try and win their first ever IRB 7s series title.
England is in Pool A with Wales, USA and the Cook Islands.
Meanwhile, Fiji will meet France at 1.44pm Friday then Canada at 4.40pm before the final pool game against South Africa at 9.12pm.
