A soccer club from Nigeria is likely to tour Fiji.

This was confirmed by Fiji FA Chief Executive Bob Kumar.

He says they have been corresponding with the club from Nigeria, who play in the Super Premier Division.

Kumar says the club was to have arrived yesterday but because of the Volcano Eruption in Europe, their flight was delayed and it is likely they might come in later this week or early next month.

Kumar says the club from Nigeria have requested to play some build-up games here and he has lined up teams like Fiji Under 20, League Champions Lautoka, Soccer Giants Ba and Nadi.

He says that so far only Fiji Under 20 and Lautoka have confirmed to play while no word has come from the Ba and Nadi officials.

Kumar says everything should be finalized once the team arrives in Fiji.
