A cloud of doubt still surrounds the availability of former Labasa soccer defender Ilaitia Tuilau to feature for Lautoka at this weekends Inkk Mobile Battle Of the Giants tournament.

Labasa Media Officer, Edwin Chand said they have demanded $10,000 from Lautoka for Tuilau's release.

Chand said this is the amount Labasa paid to get Tuilau from Lautoka in January 2011.

Lautoka soccer President Shalendra Prasad confirmed receiving the payment in 2011 but said according to Tuilau the then Labasa soccer President had cleared players to play for any other district if the players had served in Labasa for one season.

Prasad confirmed that Tuilau is training with the Blues.

Meanwhile Fiji FA CEO Bob Kumar said they will speak to both district officials later this week before solving the dispute.

Lautoka takes on Rewa in the last match of Day 1 at Subrail Park on Saturday at 7.15pm while Labasa meet Navua at 5.15pm.

In other matches, Ba will play Nadroga in the first match at 12.30pm while Nadi play Suva at 3.15pm.
