Close to $3 million will be needed to get essential service back up and running in the North to what it was before Hurricane Tomas struck.
Ministry of Public Utilities spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said that preliminary reports from their engineers revealed that alot of damage has been sustained in the North and as a result more work needs to be done.
Waqainabete said that they have been briefed as to work within their budget however Government has assured to come forward with more money if needed.
