Clermont have expressed concern with regards to the mental state of Fijian wing Napolioni Nalaga who has been absent from the French club for over a month.

The 24 year old try making machine first raised eyebrows when he failed to return from vacation at the end of December.

News eventually filtered back to Clermont that his wedding had been postponed after his fiancée was involved in a road accident from which she is still recovering.

Club president Renè Fontès confirmed that they have not had any direct contact with Nalaga, who is said to be in a state of “deep depression”.

He stressed that Nalaga is currently going through family problems and has been very affected by the situation, adding the Black Beast is part of their family and can count on their support.
