Vodafone Fiji FACT champions Navua will be using US based striker Stefan Clemens as their trump card at the four-day tournament that kicks off in Lautoka this afternoon.

Clemens assisted the Navua side in their first ever win at the Courts Homecentres Inter District Championship last season, and he is now out to make a similar contribution in Navua's defense of the Vodafone Fiji FACT title.

The Bay Area Ambassadors striker was immediately at his best as his first minute goal was enough to seal a 1-0 win over Nasinu last Sunday at the TFL National Stadium in Suva during the first round of the Fiji Fact.

Coach Gurjit Singh has instructed his boys to come out fast and strong right from the first minute of play and score a goal every time they have the opportunity.

The US star is fully backing Navua to do wonders at the Fiji FACT, adding that the southern based side is special to him and that is why he wanted to come back again this year.

Navua face Tavua at 5:30pm this afternoon in the opening match of the Vodafone Fiji Fact at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Navua is in Pool Two alongside Ba, Nasinu and Rewa.

Meanwhile, the live commentary of the Labasa/Nadi match at 6:45pm, the Ba/Rewa match at 8pm and the Lautoka/Suva match at 9:15pm can be heard on our sister station Radio Sargam.
