Be in to be in the running or you will miss out.

Those are the words of Digicel Fiji 7s coach Josateki Savou to the 27 member squad who have marched into camp today.

Savou said that those players who have not turned up today will not be considered for selection when they trim the squad to 20 players.

He added the inclusion of some new faces in the team is also in line with the Pacific Games where Fiji will be defending the gold medal.

Players like former Suva Grammar 400 meter champion Aporosa Tabulawaki, Livai Ikanikoda, Nikola Matawalu, Waqabaca Kotobalavu, Metuisela Talebula and Sairusi Qaranivalu who played for Lelean last year are some young players who will be part of a long term plan for the national sevens side.

The England 7s kicks off next month on the 21st and 22nd.
