It will take close to 6 months before the Sigatoka Valley will return to what it was known as, the largest supplier of vegetables and crops in the Fiji market.

District Officer Nadroga/Navosa, Kaliova Bainivalu said with their assessment with the Agriculture Ministry, most of the farmers are still clearing up their farms and have not started planting.

Bainivalu added the short supply of vegetables will be felt in the market for awhile, as the Agriculture Ministry in Sigatoka is working with farmers on the best option to help them get back into business.
