These are the words of the Director of Nursing for the Health Ministry, Silina Waqa, who launched the Global Hand Washing Day at the Dudley High School in Suva today.
Waqa said hand washing is a tradition that many people have not observed to date and she is calling on parents to instill the proper hand washing culture in their children.
Fiji celebrated Global Hand Washing Day for the first time today in conjunction with Unilever Australiasia and Lifebuoy soap which is distributed in the country by the Motibhai Group of Companies.
