Police are assuring the public that criminal activities will reduce, as they are having Clean Sweep Operations around the country to sweep out criminal activities.
The Director Economic Crime SSP Arjun Singh said this operation has proved very successful, as police were able to arrest people who were suspects in cases, on bench warrant and evading police for a very long time.
He said their operation in Nausori the whole of this week saw 83 people evading police, arrested. He said the operation kicked off in Raiwaqa, Samabula and Nabua yesterday and they hope to arrest more people.
