National Federation Party's General Secretary, Pramod Rae has called on the Interim Prime Minister to clarify how he will carry out Electoral Reforms as the Constitution clearly states that it can only be done through parliament.
These reactions come after the Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama this morning said that there is no election date set as yet for Fiji.
In an exclusive interview with Fijivillage, Bainimarama confirmed that the next elections will be held after the necessary electoral reforms are completed and implemented.
Bainimarama said he will not rely on an elected government or parliament to implement the electoral changes and everything will be put in place first before he decides on an election date.
Bainimarama also reveals that he did not give commit to any dates for elections when he met the Forum Ministerial Contact Group.
