Former captain Petero Civoniceva may feature for the Vodafone Fiji Bati to play Samoa this weekend.

This is after Wests Tigers winger Taqele Naiyaravoro signed a contract with super rugby side, the New South Wales Waratahs yesterday which means he will not play for the Bati.

Bati Assistant Coach Joe Rabele said either Osea Sadrau, Atunaisa Turagaiviu or even Civoniceva may take Naiyaravoro's place in the final 17 member team to play Samoa at 9:30pm this Saturday.

Rabele said Civoniceva is training with the side but Head coach Rick Stone will have the final say in relation to Naiyaravoro's replacement.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati will play Samoa at 9:30pm Saturday with the winner to feature in the Four Nations tournament which includes Australia, New Zealand and England.
