The Interim Minister for Women and Social Welfare, Dr. Jiko Luveni has revealed that civil servants are the least informed about the People's Charter process and the ones that badly need to be encouraged to take part in the process.
Speaking to FijiVillage, Dr. Luveni said the work of the Public Relations team for the National Council of Building a better Fiji is timely as civil servants in outer islands are still in the dark.
Dr. Luveni is currently on tour in the Northern Division and stressed that she would also be highlighting the importance of the Charter at whatever nursing station she visits, but at the same time would allow the nurses to make an informed decision.
The same sentiments were expressed by Acting Commissioner Northern, Inia Seruiratu who saod every civil servant is entitled to their own opinion and added that no one should be forced to accept or disagree with the Charter Process.
The NCBBF Public Relations team is currently in the North and has just visited villages in Macuata.
