The Public Service Commission has revealed that the eleven civil servants, whose contracts have been terminated, misused public funds.
PSC Chairman, Josefa Serulagilagi said the eleven who were holding junior posts were sent home by the Public Service Disciplinary Tribunal after it was established that their abuse resulted to the loss of government finances and resources.
He said they have decided to refer some of the cases to Police and FICAC for further investigations.
The Commission dealt with 21 cases this month out of which the contracts of eleven civil servants were terminated, three were reprimanded, four were re-instated, and one was warned while the hearing of two cases has been deferred.
