A civil servant will be sentenced tomorrow after pleading guilty to one count of larceny by servant in the Lautoka Magistrate's Court.

Samisoni Rusivakula Vulavou, who was a supervisor in the Public Works Department leakage control unit, appeared before Magistrate Usaia Ratuvuli and waived his right to counsel.

Vulavou also told the court that his plea was not forced and he was admitting to the facts voluntarily.

It is alleged that Vulavou acquired items from PWD stores by ordering more supplies than needed for repairing leakages in water pipes.

He was later caught red handed selling $1,900 worth of supplies to a hardware shop in Lautoka.
