The Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji have completed their investigations regarding yesterday's incident where an Air Fiji plane hit the Sun Air Office in Matei, Taveuni after it failed to stop after landing.
CEO Netava Waqa said they are now waiting for Air Fiji to complete their internal investigation after which CAAFI hopes to take necessary action.
Meanwhile, several attempts to speak to Air Fiji CEO Sialeni Vuetaki have proven futile.
Air Fiji plane PC 285 left Labasa for Matei at 8am yesterday and upon landing at the airport at around 8:30am, failed to stop and hit the building.
