The selling of cigarette rolls to students will now be closely monitored by the Ministry of Health.
Speaking to Fijivillage, officer in charge of the Tobacco Control Unit Iferemi Corerega, said in light of the students who were caught smoking last week the unit has decided to address the issue of selling single rolls since this was the only affordable way for students to get cigarettes.
Corerega added they're looking at ways to monitor the selling of single rolls.
