Easter is a time to remind Christian and all people in the World about God's commitment to save the world.
As Christians commemorate the death of Jesus Christ after he was condemned to die by his own people and only to rise again three days later, here in Fiji the two biggest Christian denominations, the Catholic church and other Methodist Church of Fiji, have called on the nation to leave our difference aside and work together in building our country.
The Head of Catholic Church Archibishop Petero Mataca said that in the past few months we have face a lot of difficulties and it is time to overcome our difference for the betterment of our nation.
Also the Assistant General Secretary of the Methodist Church Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu said that it is important that in this Easter for everyone to try and live in the image of God.
