Members of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji believe that the Methodist Church and the SDL's claims that their members are against the draft People’s Charter are unfounded.
After over 4000 people turned up at Churchill Park in Lautoka yesterday to hear Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama speak on the draft Charter, NCBBF member Ratu Jolame Lewanavanua said those who oppose the Charter are not even aware that their members want to move the country forward.
And SDL councilor in the Lautoka City Council Faiyaz Ali said the response in Lautoka to support the Charter is evident with the turnout yesterday.
