The Methodist Church of Fiji will decide later this week whether the members of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji would be given permission to make a presentation on the Draft People’s Charter at the conference next week.
Church Assistant General Secretary Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu confirms that the Church Executives have received a letter from the NCBBF on the matter.
Waqairatu also confirmed that the Church has agreed to receive copies of all documents prepared by the NCBBF to scrutinize the documents for themselves as they want to ensure that the Church conference is not seen to be politicized.
Assistant Deputy Secretary for the NCBBF Technical and Support Secretariat Peter Wise confirms that 500 copies of all the NCBBF documents in all three languages will be handed to the Methodist Church.
The Methodist Church Conference official starts next Monday in Suva.
