The Methodist Church of Fiji has raised a little over $1,457,000 on the second day of their annual soli and choir competition, held at the Furnival Park in Toorak.
General Secretary, Reverend Ame Tugawe says that one of the main aims of the SOLI is to direct the funds to their education department whereby the church manages more than 30 schools.
The Methodist Church adds that the annual SOLI proceeds is also directed to the development of the various ministries in the church.
