The first meeting of the Methodist Church Standing Committee starts today in Suva after the Police gave the go ahead by granting a permit last week.
Acting General Secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra confirmed there are important issues on the agenda, which includes how the money collected from their divisional meetings will be utilized for the church activities.
Nawadra added Methodist schools will be assisted by the church however the request will come from the boards of the schools.
The meeting is expected to start at 10am at the Centenary Church.
