Ba Police are questioning a man in relation to a break-in at a church in Tavarau, Ba, yesterday.

Police spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita said it is alleged that the man broke into the Christian Mission Church at around 2pm and stole some electrical items which are yet to be recovered.

Police also discovered that some swear words were also written on the church walls.

Meanwhile, police are still trying to identify the body of a man which was found floating in the Nawaka river.

According to Police, the Indo-Fijian man is of dark complexion and in his 50s.

The body was discovered by two women walking along the river.

There were some injuries on the body.
