The Methodist Church of Fiji has applied for a permit to hold a three-day meeting which has been sent to the Commissioner of Police, Esala Teleni.
Speaking to Fijivillage news, Acting Church Secretary, Reverend Tevita Nawadra has confirmed they are now awaiting a response.
Nawadra added that the Meeting will include the Standing Committee members, and has assured that the President Reverend Ame Tugawe, Secretary Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu, Reverend Tomasi Kanailagi and Reverend Manasa Lasaro and representatives from all the Circuits Fiji-wide will not be included in the meeting.
Nawadra added that they will also discuss matters including transfers of Reverends who have completed their 5-year term within a District and the collection of "soli" still to come in and Administration matters.
The Meeting is expected to be held in Suva.
