The 800 members of the Annual Methodist Church Conference will make the final decision on whether they will allow the Draft People's Charter team to present their submission next Wednesday.
Assistant General Secretary Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu confirmed that the interim government has requested the Methodist Church for the Charter team to also present to the members of the Conference.
Waqairatu said that in past years the decision will be made by the Church Executive but President Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca has decided to allow members to be part of the decision making.
But Waqairatu maintained the Methodist Church has remained firm on its decision not to support the Draft People's Charter.
The Annual Methodist Church Conference will start on Monday at the Centenary Church in Suva.
