One of the highlights for the upcoming Methodist Church Conference next week is for each church member to give their $10 levy to the main pool as maintained in the past years.
Church elder Nadi Circuit, Taukei Navo Ratu Meli Saukuru said it has been a normal practice for every church member to pitch in their $10 offering for the development of the church.
He reiterated no one is forced to give their SOLI.
Saukuru also confirmed that all the church ministers, elders and deacons will open the SOLI during the SOLEVU and choir competition at Furnival Park which kicks off next Thursday in Suva.
The Nadi Circuit has already collected $180,000.
