The Interim Prime Minister has today questioned the leaders of the Methodist Church of Fiji why they are opposing the draft Charter, as nothing will stop the People's Charter process.
Following revelations from the Methodist Church that they are distributing their own forms to their members to sign to show that they oppose the Charter, Bainimarama said people should not follow the church leaders but make their own decisions.
He stressed that the leaders of the church should also realize that they cannot stop the Charter process.
Bainimarama said the military and the interim government has also made it clear how they want Fiji to move forward.
The Methodist Church executives are expected to comment in the next hour.
