Today marks one of the most important days in the Christian calendar the resurrection Sunday when Jesus rose from the death.
Methodist Church of Fiji Acting General Secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra said Jesus resurrection addresses two of life’s great questions, the meaning of our existence and the meaning of death.
Nawadra said that faith in Jesus Christ as risen Lord redefines the meaning of our life and death.
He added that Jesus suffering, death and resurrection demonstrates what God has brought to the world and our hearts.
But his resurrection can cause us to breathe with a new sense of life.
