32 gold medals are at stake in day one of the Chow Games which will kick-off at the TFL Stadium tomorrow morning.

With 18 districts taking part which also includes the Tonga national team it is expected that last year's overall winner Suva will be up against tough competition this year.

The first of the gold medal at 9am is from the U-9 girl’s long jump event where Suva's Sokoveti Kadawa and Hiromi Nawalu are front runners.

Also on the track, the first medal will come from the U-12 girl’s 1,500 meter final which will also start at 9am.

The day 1 of the Chow Games will start at 9am and will finish at 4.30pm with the 4 by 100 meter events.
