A Chinese technical team is in the country to survey and assess selected garment manufacturing companies as part of a bilateral technical mission between Fiji and China.
The 6 member team has so far visited garment manufacturing factories in Lautoka and Nadi since it arrived in the country yesterday.
The team will visit the garment factories in Suva and Nasinu later this week, and the areas of possible technical assistance will be assessed and identified upon the completion of the tour.
The team returns to China next week.
