A high powered delegation from China consisting of 60 businessmen will arrive into the country later this month to explore investment opportunities in Fiji.

Foreign Affairs Ministry officials confirmed that the delegation will hold talks with those in the private sector and will also make a courtesy call to Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama and other ministers.

They will also make a number of site visits on their interests shown in various investment projects.

The delegation will also be accompanied by Chinese Government officials and it is expected that further talks between Fiji and China will take place on the $240 million soft loan from the Chinese government.

The delegation arrives on May 31st.
