Chinese businessmen have shown keen interest in acquiring shares in two of FNPF's projects.

The Ministry of Information confirmed that a group of Chinese businessmen are in the country for talks of future business investments locally and are looking at buying of shares of the Momi Hotel and Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.

The potential investors who arrived in Saturday are from the Sun Boom Investment in China and were impressed over their talks with Fiji Island Trade and Investment Bureau for future ventures in Fiji.

The local contact for the investors, Fu Gang said the investors are keen in investing in Fiji because of Fiji's multiracial background and location in the Pacific.

He said the tour party leaves today but will return after two weeks to register their Expressions of Interest on the Momi Project and GPH.
