Chinese Ambassador to Fiji Qian Bo says they were disturbed at the rumour that some Chinese nationals had allegedly abducted a 13-year-old boy in Lautoka last month.
Bo says that the facts have proven that this was not true.
He adds that Chinese are very peaceful and nice people.
A 13-year-old boy had alleged that some Chinese nationals had allegedly abducted him last month in Lautoka.
Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho had earlier said that the boy had admitted that he had falsified information.
