China based Tengy Group of Companies has confirmed to Fiji's Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama that they are ready to start cement manufacturing operations in Fiji immediately.
Speaking to Fijivillage from China, Commodore Bainimarama confirmed that he met with the Tengy Group of Companies last night and the company executives will come to Fiji in late August for initial preparations and discussions.
The company has also been invited to set up wind farms to generate power for the country and at the same time register a company in Fiji.
The Tengy Group based in Zhuji City has also requested to be allowed to conduct studies on the establishment of the Wind Power Generation Plant in Fiji.
Commodore Bainimarama returns to Fiji tomorrow.
