Suva Soccer Association President Mahendra Prasad said they wasted more than $3,000 in bringing Vanuatu midfielder Saimata Chillia for the Battle of the Giants Soccer tournament.

Prasad said Chillia's performance was below standard and he will not be considered for the Courts IDC.

Suva's performance at the BOG was also below standard despite having big names in the squad.

Prasad is hopeful coach Zulfikar Khan will turn the tables around in the remaining National Soccer League games and IDC.

When asked if the Capital side will import overseas players for the IDC, Prasad said it will depend on the performance of the local players.
