Childrens safety paramount at showcase
These are the sentiments of the organisers of the Fiji Showcase 2010, as they want parents to enjoy themselves knowing that their children are safe.
Manager Total Event Company Loretta Jackson reveals that when children head down to the 9 day Trade show, an important feature would be the Safe Kids Corner.
In this booth, the child will get a wristband for easy identification should they wander off. When parents enter the Showcase Venue, they head to the Safe Kids corner where they can register their contact details and if a child is found wandering around, the parents will be contacted.
Another feature of the Showcase would be the amusement rides where there will be Ferris Wheels, motor bike merry go rounds and even the Sizzler and Aero plane rides.
Jackson said that this year they are focusing on ensuring there is a feature for every member of the family adding that this is a chance for locals to be able to get a taste of an international standard event.
The Fiji Showcase 2010 is just four days away with gates expected to open this Friday at mid-day at the Vodafone Arena, and will run for nine days.
