If our children are raising concerns themselves then it should be a sign to all of us that these issues should be addressed and not ignored.
These are the words of Acting Medical Superintendant at the Saint Giles Hospital Dr Shishram Narayan on Tadra Kahani Senior Division winners Rishikul Sanatan College's theme of "The Diary, Suicide Prevention".
Narayan, who is also a member of National Council on Prevention of Suicide said Rishikul's performance shows the various academic and relationship pressures school kids go through in their teenage years.
Dr. Narayan adds children should always be encouraged to voice the troubles they face in their lives to their teachers or councellors at school and to parents as this is the first step to avoid the nation from losing more of its young members.
